Local Lifestyle

The San Francisco Bay area has always been a mecca for trend-setting creative types, and the Livermore area is just as hip as the rest of the Bay area. While this area is not as well known for its wineries and vineyards as Napa Valley, Livermore is home to the oldest wine region in the state.
 
Award-winning wineries and vineyards are located just minutes from the Bay area hotspots, fine-dining locations, and trendy boutiques. You will have no trouble finding something to do in Livermore. 

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Downtown Livermore offers all of the amenities and conveniences you would expect in the San Francisco Bay area. Uncle Yu's at the Vineyard offers traditional Chinese cuisine made from locally sourced organic ingredients and served in a modern fashion. Other dining options include Roppongi Sushi and the Aviation Rooftop Bar and Lounge. Alternatively, you can pick up locally grown produce and goods at the Livermore Farmer's Market.

The Wente Winery and Vineyard has been family-owned and operated for hundreds of years and is fully sustainable. The vineyard features a wine-tasting lounge and a golf course, and it hosts events like the Summer Concert Series or the Art in the Vineyard event, which has been held here for 50 years.
 
For creative inspiration, visit the Artspace Gallery or enjoy live theater performances at the SPARC Theater or the Bankhead Theater. There is also the Livermore Valley Opera or live concerts downtown. The outdoor enthusiast will enjoy Sycamore Grove Park with its variety of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails for all skill levels.
