Livermore is a city of nearly 100,000 people on the eastern edge of the Bay Area. It’s known for its award-winning wineries and spacious ranches. The restaurants in the area are also excellent, and it seems like there’s always a new restaurant bursting onto the scene. Below you’ll read about eight new Livermore restaurants that you may not have heard about yet. You’ll want to make plans to try these restaurants as soon as you can.
1. KOMYO SUSHI

In nearby Dublin, Komyo Sushi sits off Fallon Rd near the San Francisco Premium Outlets. This top-notch restaurant offers a variety of delicious entree choices, including the Chicken Katsu and the Miso Glazed Salmon. 2. ZACHARY’S PIZZA
337 Main St, Suite B, Pleasanton, CA 94566
Zachary’s Pizza opened in Pleasanton in September 2021. They are known for their deep dish pizzas that are anything but traditional. Their first location opened in Rockridge in 1983 by Zach Zachowski and Barbara Gabel. Both originally from Wisconsin, they each had an affinity for deep-dish pizza. What you’ll experience at their restaurant is quite different from what you might have tried at other Chicago deep-dish pizza restaurants. They start with a thin layer of dough spread across the bottom of a deep dish pan. From there, they top the dough with cheese and toppings before spreading another thin layer of dough across the top. Once they cover the top layer with tomato sauce, they place the pizza in the oven and let it cook slowly. You can also order one of their thin pizzas if you prefer.
Zachary’s Pizza has won multiple awards in the past, and Livermore residents will love having a Zachary’s closer to home. Zachary’s opens daily at 11 am. If you want to grab a pie to-go, consider ordering the half-baked pizza that you can finish in your own oven.
3. KILLINEY KOPITIAM
552 Waverley St, Palo Alto, CA 94301
If you can make the drive over to Palo Alto, check out Killiney Kopitiam. This exceptional eatery opened in late 2021 off of Jack London Boulevard. You can watch traditional Singapore coffee being made inside traditional kettles when you arrive. Killiney Kopitiam recently began expanding into the US, with their first location opening in Palo Alto in 2020. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, but they are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.

2002 Portola Ave Suite L, Livermore, CA 94551

Co-owner Angel Mendez got his start in the restaurant industry by cooking at The Club at Castlewood for over 20 years before he decided to open Polo’s Corner. You’ll find several Mexican-inspired dishes on the menu, including Chilaquiles Rojo and Tres Leches French Toast. If you come for dinner, try the Tapas sample with mushroom croquetas and steak skewers before the entrees come out. For your main dish, you’ll choose between the traditional New England Lobster roll or the Big Bird Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Make sure you save room to enjoy the beignet surprise or the churro bites before the meal is over.
